THEM GUYS BIO

THEM GUYS are four longtime friends from South Louisiana who all have the same vision when it comes to music. Our journey began in 2019 when we first came together in hopes of becoming a Chevelle Tribute band. When Covid-19 shut the entire country down, we found time to shift our focus on writing music. We released 2 studio albums, "All A Dream" & "Insomnious", courtesy of OCD Recording and Productions. In 2022, we partnered with Ross Johnson of Pro Audio Video Security for live sound, and late 2023, Ross produced our 3rd studio album "Delusions." Delusions went on to win Rock Album of the Year at The 10th Annual Josie Music Awards in Nashville, TN. Since then, we have shifted our focus on you, the FANS, doing everything in our power to provide the best live music experience we can possibly produce. November 2022, we joined forces with Massive Media MS, and in late 2023, we also partnered with Full Circle Entertainment.

Nick Oubre - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar

Nick has been active in the music scene for about 10 years now, however, he started writing and performing at a very young age. Although his first instrument is drums, he is widely known for his massive vocal range and his technical style of guitar playing. When you hear Nick belt out his insane screams, or when he tones it down for some melodic vocal patterns, there's no mistaking him for anyone else. He is truly one of a kind!!

Benjamin Kliebert - Lead Guitar

Ben is the newest member to the live team, however he has been a part of the team for a while! Starting out as our Lighting Tech, Ben knows the ends and outs to our music! Oh, did we mention he can SHRED on the guitar!?! Yeah, he's a beast for sure! Ben has been playing guitar for roughly 20 years, and has been a fan-favorite member for the THEM GUYS crew for a long while!

Ross Johnson - Bass/Backing Vocals

Ross has been an instrumental part of THEM GUYS for quite some time now. From producing the award-winning album "Delusions", to bringing the Deathstar (IYKYK) out to melt your faces, to building some of the most beautiful instruments you've ever seen, now he is stepping into the spotlight as the new Bassist! Ross has been an exceptional musician for over 40 years, and has actively proven time and time again why everything he touches is GOLDEN! Ross is sure to bring a new energy to the band that most of you are not prepared for.....but you know the old saying, you don't have to get ready if you stay ready!

Chet Tabor - Drums/Backing Vocals

Chet has a unique drumming style, and it stands out on each THEM GUYS song. Chet has been playing drums for 25+ years, and it is obvious in his performances. He plays with a level of energy beyond 11 on a guitar rig. You cannot mistake Chet for anyone else. He grabs onto a crowd and takes them along a journey all the way from start to finish. He is loud, and he likes it that way! (It's live music right?!?) He also carries a level of passion that is simply undeniable. You never question whether or not he loves what he is doing.

THEM GUYS are the musicians, but none of this would be possible without the genius that is Mr. Ross J Johnson himself. Ross is a world-class sound engineer, and brings a level of production that most bands dream. His expansive knowledge in audio equipment, his 30-40 years of music experience, and most importantly, his friendship make him the prime addition to THEM GUYS Production Team!
