THEM GUYS BIO
THEM GUYS are four longtime friends from South Louisiana who all have the same vision when it comes to music. Our journey began in 2019 when we first came together in hopes of becoming a Chevelle Tribute band. When Covid-19 shut the entire country down, we found time to shift our focus on writing music. In 2020, we released our first studio album "All A Dream", courtesy of OCD Recording and Productions. In 2022, we released our second studio album "Insomnious", also with OCD. Since then, we have shifted our focus on you, the FANS, doing everything in our power to provide the best live music experience we can possibly produce. We joined forces with Pro Audio Video Security in early 2022, and in November 2022, we jumped onboard with Massive Media MS.
Nick Oubre - Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
Nick has been active in the music scene for about 10 years now, however, he started writing and performing at a very young age. Although his first instrument is drums, he is widely known for his massive vocal range and his technical style of guitar playing. When you hear Nick belt out his insane screams, or when he tones it down for some melodic vocal patterns, there's no mistaking him for anyone else. He is truly one of a kind!!
Anthony Green - Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals
Anthony has been actively playing guitar for the majority of his life. This truly shows when you see him perform. He gives it all in each and every solo, and he is always the life of the party! From dancing in the crowd, to jumping all around the stage, he is sure to entertain at each and every show. He creates face-melting leads, and more importantly, his performance is from the heart every time. His skill level is impeccable, and his love for music is second to none! You can be sure that each time you have the chance to watch Anthony in action, you will be pleased with the outcome!
John Waguespack - Bass/Backing Vocals
John has been playing bass for quite some time now, and it shows every time he gets on stage. "Johnny Utah" is the backbone of THEM GUYS. He carries the weight of the music on his shoulders on each song. There is no mistaking his thunderous sound when you hear him. This man pours it all out for his fans at each and every show. His love of music is unprecedented, and his passion for the craft is unmatched. John's energy is contagious, as when he gets hyped, everyone has no other choice but to get hyped!
Chet Tabor - Drums/Backing Vocals
Chet has a unique drumming style, and it stands out on each THEM GUYS song. Chet has been playing drums for 25 years, and it is obvious in his performances. He plays with a level of energy beyond 11 on a guitar rig. You cannot mistake Chet for anyone else. He grabs onto a crowd and takes them along a journey all the way from start to finish. He is loud, and he likes it that way! (It's live music right?!?) He also carries a level of passion that is simply undeniable. You never question whether or not he loves what he is doing.

THEM GUYS are the musicians, but none of this would be possible without the genius that is Mr. Ross J Johnson himself. Ross is a world-class sound engineer, and brings a level of production that most bands dream. His expansive knowledge in audio equipment, his 30-40 years of music experience, and most importantly, his friendship make him the prime addition to THEM GUYS Production Team!
Benjamin Kliebert - Lighting Tech
When it comes to High-Quality lighting, no one tops the work ethic of Benjamin Kliebert! He brings the show to life each and every night. His love for the scene makes everyone better. He has a niche for lighting up a stage!
